Front reed reinforced / loose dents

Reinforced” means a one-sided edge reinforcement. The thickness is freely selectable and is available in flat (rectangular) or round design. This provides the reed with stabilisation against sideways forces which can lead to vibrations. “Exchange rods” are exchangeable rods in the event of wear (e.g. due to edge wires…) These rods can be arranged on the left, right, both sides or elsewhere in the reed. The thickness is specified by the customer. Usually they are slightly stronger in the edge area than the inner leaf stick, or they’re matched to the inner stick.
